House fire displaces two adults on Sleepy Hollow Lane in Annapolis

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) - Fire officials say two adults were displaced by a fire that did extensive damage to their home in Annapolis.

The two-story house on Sleepy Hollow Lane was engulfed in flames when Anne Arundel County firefighters arrived around 10:30 Sunday morning. More than 40 firefighters responded to the scene, and it took about 50 minutes to bring the fire under control.

Officials say the fire caused more than $300,000 worth of damage. The two occupants were uninjured. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
