Honorio Nava-Paredes identified as man found dead on Beltway

(WJLA) - The body of a person found Tuesday on the shoulder of the Capital Beltway has been identified as a 31-year-old Washington man.

Montgomery County Police say that the body Honorio Nava-Paredes, who lived on Massachusetts Avenue in the District, was found Tuesday morning in a grassy area just off the Inner Loop between Georgia Avenue and Colesville Road.

Authorities have not yet figured out how Nava-Paredes died and are awaiting the results of an autopsy.

Several passersby alerted authorities to Nava-Paredes's body.
