(WJLA) - Halloween revelers who imbibe a little too much on Thursday night will once again be able to get a free cab ride home, thanks to the Washington Regional Alcohol Program.

WRAP's SoberRide program will be in operation between 10 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 31, and 4 a.m. Friday for people who have had too much to drink while celebrating Halloween. Officials say that more than half of all traffic-related deaths in the nation on Halloween are due to drunk drivers.

Anyone 21 or over who wants $30 in free cab fare in the District and the close-in Maryland and Virginia counties can call 1-800-200-TAXI for their ride.
