Greenbelt robbery: Tom Thorton, Nathaniel Beckham arrested

      Two Prince George's County men face several charges after police say they{}robbed a man at gunpoint in Greenbelt last week.{}

      Police say the victim was walking in the 9700 block of Good Luck Road around 4 a.m. on Aug. 20 when he was confronted by Tom Collins Thorton and Nathaniel Beckham.{}

      Thorton and Beckham allegedly stole the man's cell phone and wallet and then demanded his bank card PIN. Police say the duo used the victim's card at an ATM a short time later.{}

      Thorton was arrested the next day. Two handguns as well the victim's cell phone and wallet were recovered from his car.{}Detectives also found PCP in Thorton's freezer and digital scales with drug residue.{}

      Beckham was arrested on Aug. 27. Both men admitted their involvement and face multiple charges related to the robbery.{}
