(WJLA) - If social media is any indicator, the overwhelming feeling about the ongoing government shutdown, which is barely a day old, is anger.

Sure, there's disappointment, resentment and confusion, but outright anger rules the day for federal workers, District of Columbia residents and everyday Americans who can't understand why Congress can't get its job done.
