(WJLA) -One woman was fatally shot and another was critically injured Friday evening at a Woodbridge store.
Officers responded to Platanillos Grocery and Jewelry on Jefferson Davis Highway around 9 p.m. and found two women suffering from gunshot wounds. Glenda Marisol Coca-Romero, 21, died at the scene. Sources say she was the mother of an infant. A second victim, a 42-year-old woman, was transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. Both victims were store employees.
Witnesses told police that three men were seen entering the store followed by gunshots. The suspects are seen on surveillance video.
Two others - an employee and a customer - were inside the store at the time of the shooting and were unharmed.
No property or money was stolen.
This is Prince William County's first murder of 2014.
