(WJLA) - A Ferrari burst into flames on the George Washington Memorial Parkway early Friday morning after spinning out, fire officials say.
As first reported by ARLNow, a series of crashes began on the Parkway at about 9:30 a.m. where the southbound lanes go under Interstate 66. The driver of the Ferrari lost control of the vehicle and hit the bridge, after which it caught fire.
ARLNow says that the wet roads likely contributed to the accident.
Fire officials say that no one, including the driver of the Ferrari, was injured in the crash.
