Three suspects in a string of residential burglaries in Fairfax County have been arrested.
Ten burglaries in a few hours had been reported in McLean on Friday, May 3. Similar burglaries have been reported in Falls Church and in Vienna.
While investigating four more McLean-area burglaries reported on Monday, police saw the suspect vehicle, a 2006 silver Ford Explorer, and set up surveillance.
When the suspects returned to the car, they were arrested. Fairfax County Police have identified the suspects as Craig Hopta, 29, Michael Lewis, 29 and Diana Seaborn, 34, all from Maryland.
Prince George's County Police shared information with Fairfax police that helped identify potential suspects in the series of burglaries.
Additional charges are expected, police say.
