Events and weather forecast in the DC area this weekend

DC Vegfest

If you're unsure of what you want to do this weekend and if you have any questions regarding the weather forecast, you've stumbled upon the right place. There are a number of things going on around the Nation's Capital this weekend and we've highlighted a few in our collaboration with DC Refined.

The National Museum of African American History and Culture has a Grand Opening on Saturday but also has outdoor events planned for Friday from 12pm to 5pm. Find more on the opening here.

Vegfest is the largest vegitarian festival in D.C. with 130 vendors and free tastings. It is being held in Yards Park from 11am to 6pm. Another event happening in D.C. this weekend is Oktoberfest which is at 1st & L St. NW at the Wunder Garten. Opera in the Outfield is Saturday evening at National's Park. You can actually sit on the field while watching a simulcast of Opera on the outfield big screen. In Alexandra, head out to the Old Town Shop and Stroll. Even if you don't buy anything the weather should be beautiful on Saturday with plenty of sunshine and comfortable temperatures. We're expecting a few additional clouds by Sunday but along with cooler temperatures. Enjoy your weekend!
