Seat Pleasant police chief's condition improving after motorcycle crash in P.G. Co.

Seat Pleasant Police Chief Devan Martin is still in the hospital as his condition improves Friday after he was involved in a motorcycle crash last night in Prince George's County, Maryland, according to police.

The crash happened on Martin Luther King Highway at Glen Willow Drive.

Investigators say Martin was riding a department-issued motorcycle when he collided with another vehicle.

According to officials, Martin was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and is expected to be okay, Prince George's County Police Chief Hank Stawinski said during a press conference.

Police have not released information regarding charges being filed in this incident.
