Dr. Benjamin Carson rises to contender status for GOP presidential nomination

A new name is circling around as a possible contender in the 2016 presidential race. And Marylanders know him well.

Dr. Benajamin Carson is a world-renowned pediatric neurosurgeon at Johns Hopkins. And lately, he has become a darling among conservatives.
