A 45-year-old man was killed early Monday morning when he was hit by a car after he laid down on Suitland Road.
Prince George's County Police say that Donald Pray, a 45-year-old Capitol Heights resident, was taken to a nearby hospital after being found on Suitland Road near Suitland Parkway with critical injuries. He was later pronounced dead.
Sources say that Pray got into an argument with his girlfriend while driving at the time. At some point, he got out of the car and laid down in the roadway. That's when he was struck by a car.
Authorities believe Pray may have been drinking before the crash.
