Donald Chew, of Annapolis, charged with attempted second degree murder in stabbing incident

(WJLA) - An Annapolis man has been charged with attempted second degree murder after stabbing a man on Saturday, according to the Annapolis Police Department.

Donald Chew, 41, allegedly stabbed a 49-year-old man in the torso on Saturday during an argument. Police said the the two men, who knew each other prior the stabbing, got into a verbal argument that escalated into a fight. Chew allegedly stabbed the man with a knife and fled the scene before police arrived. Chew later turned himself into police.

Chew was charged with attempted second degree murder, first and second degree assault, reckless endangerment, possessing a dangerous weapon with intent to injure and concealing a dangerous weapon. He is being held on $450,000 bond at the Jennifer Road Detention Center.
