A Maryland judge declined Thursday to revoke the bond of Maryland Del. Don Dwyer after his most recent DUI charge.
Dwyer was arrested Aug. 20 in Anne Arundel County on suspicion of driving under the influence, just months after he was sentenced to 30 days in jail for a previous alcohol-related incident.
That incident happened last Aug. 22, when several people and children were injured in a boat crash involving the state representative.
The delegate's blood-alcohol level was 0.24 at the time of the boat crash on the Magothy River.
Dywer was out on bond at the time of his most recent DUI arrest while he appealed his pending jail sentence.
