(WJLA) - Dominion Power customers in Virginia will soon see a few dollars shaved off their power bills.
Regulators are allowing the major power utility to lower its fuel rate charge, meaning that the typical customer will save about $3.70 per month.
Dominion officials say they've been charging customers too for power because of the mild weather. In addition, fuel prices have been lower than expected.
The utility services more than 840,000 customers in Northern Virginia and about 2.5 million throughout Virginia and North Carolina.
