Derecho storm damage clean-up: Unfinished

More than two weeks after the Derecho storm hit the Washington region, some people are still struggling to return to normal.

Juanita Skipwith hasn’t been in her Fort Washington home since the storm as a large tree blocks her driveway.

After getting Pepco to remove a downed power line from her yard, she is trying to get Prince George’s County to remove the huge tree limb.

"I have called over and over again. And I have not been in my house," she said.

"I cannot enter my driveway so therefore the tree is blocking my driveway and also it's a disgrace of my house," she added.

ABC7 News reached out to the agency responsible for tree removal in the county, but we’re still waiting for a response.
