DC woman with bow tie tattoo arrested for allegedly trying to cut man's throat with knife

A woman with a bow tie tattoo on her neck was arrested for allegedly trying to cut a man's throat during a dispute on Aug. 7 in Takoma Park, Maryland.

Oluwafunmi Gbolade, 23, of Washington, D.C. was charged with attempted second-degree murder, first-degree assault and malicious destruction of property, according to Takoma Park Police.

The man sustained a knife wound and had a non-life-threatening injury, and police say he refused to be taken to the hospital.

A caller told police that Gbolade threw the knife and ran away after the assault, which occurred in the 6300 block of Eastern Avenue.

Officers recovered the knife and Gbolade was arrested, according to police.
