D.C. judge attacks another judge, turns herself after arrest warrant issued
WASHINGTON (ABC7) - Two judges with the D.C. Office of Administrative Hearings were involved in a physical altercation on Thursday of last week.
ABC7's Sam Ford confirms that one of the judges, Joan Davenport, turned herself in Tuesday morning to the 1st District Police Station after a bench warrant was issued for her arrest.
According to the police report, Davenport lunged at Judge Sharon Goodie and tried to get her hands around her neck. Davenport struck Goodie with her shoulder and Goodie fell to a squatting position against the wall in the hall. Davenport admitted that she tried to get her hands on Goodie's neck, according to the police report.
