D.C. smoking ban: Vincent Orange wants smoking outlawed near playgrounds
D.C. Councilmember Vincent Orange is pushing for the passage of a bill that would ban smoking within 25 feet of playgrounds and other outdoor play areas, the Washington Post reports.

If passed, the bill would essentially prohibit smoking on large swaths of sidewalks in the District of Columbia.
