(WJLA) - One of Washington's most iconic buildings is for sale, the Washington Business Journal says.

Officially, the building at the corner of M and 7th streets Southeast is known as the Navy Yard Car Barn, but to most in the Navy Yard neighborhood and the District, it's simply known as the Blue Castle.

A developer who is intent on developing a mixed-use space at 770 M St. SE is selling the castle, which occupies an entire city block in one of the city's most rapidly developing neighborhoods. It sits about half a mile east of the Navy Yard Metro station and just a bit further from Nationals Park.

The Business Journal says that the space could house more than 210,000 square feet of development space.
