      D.C. ranked one of the best cities to live child-free

      The nation's capital{}ranks high on the list of the best cities in the country for couples who choose not to have kids, Washington Business Journal reports.{}

      Washington ranks No. 3 on the list based on the number of dual-income couples with no kids and the large number of career professionals.{}

      Real estate listing site Estately, who created the list, considered cities with low numbers of children, great nightlife, restaurants, travel options and activities where kids aren't likely to be found.{}

      Other cities include Madison, Miami Beach, Seattle, Pittsburgh and New York. San Francisco ranks No. 1 as the best city for child-free living.
