D.C. police fired on, make two arrests

After shots were fired at D.C. police in the Trinidad neighborhood Saturday night, two men were arrested, the Washington Post reports.

Officers in an unmarked vehicle saw two people who appeared to be following a man. When the officers got out of their vehicle, one of the suspects turned and fired several shots at the police.

The officers chased the men on foot and made two arrests. A firearm was seized. The officers never fired their own weapons.
