WASHINGTON (AP) - Washington's Metropolitan Police Department says three sexual assaults on women in a five-day period may be connected.

All the attacks were in the Fourth District, which covers the upper Northwest and Northeast quadrants of the city

Police say the latest attack occurred early Sunday when a woman walking in an alley behind Park Road was groped.

Police say another woman was groped Wednesday morning by a man who began talking to her as she walked on Mount Pleasant Street.

Police say another assault occurred early Saturday when a man groped a woman on Oak Street. That woman was stabbed after a struggle.

The suspect in all three incidents was described as a Hispanic man in his 20s or early 30s.
