Schools in Montgomery County and the District will repoen tomorrow and commuters are bracing for an end to the light summer traffic.
With summer vacations largely over and school back in session, the roads are set to be crowded again with cars and school buses. For many local residents, it's reason to be be more alert during the morning commute.
"Just the school buses and things on the corner are reasons to be more cautious," Silver Spring resident Jerald Bond said. "A lot more people out and about early."
Even in the District, where school buses are not as common, students still figure to make their presence known on morning commuters.
"It will probably be a bit busier with the kids coming in and coming from the metro and what not," District resident Cecilia Thomas said. "[It] will be a lot more congestion here."
