Falls Church is the Washington-area's most expensive housing market, with houses costing an average of $630,000, the Washington Business Journal reports.
Using a report from MRIS' monthly RealEstate Business Intelligence, the Business Journal says Falls Church has seen an almost 18 percent increase in the median housing price since the same time last year.
Arlington County is listed second, with a median housing price of $530,000. Alexandria, Fairfax and D.C. are close behind.
Prince George's County, meanwhile, sees the highest increase in median housing prices, with an 18-plus percentage increase since last year.
