Clifton General Store struck by S.U.V.

According to Deputy Chief Mike Riley, on Wednesday evening at approximately 8:06 p.m., an S.U.V. traveling south on Clifton Road lost control across the train tracks in downtown Clifton and struck the side of the Clifton General Store located at 7140 Main Street.

{ }Fairfax County Rescue, along with tech reconstruction team, have completed shoring up the building and as a precaution, slowed down the train track in the area to minimize vibration for building security.

No injuries were reported to the driver or customers in the store.
