      Christopher Whitehouse, MPD sergeant, sentenced

An MPD sergeant accused of threatening a woman with a handgun while he was off-duty has been sentenced to four years behind bars.

A Prince George's County circuit court judge sentenced Christopher Whitehouse, 51, of Beltsville, for the March incident.

Authorities said Whitehouse was with a female friend in Cheverly when they got into a fight. Whitehead grabbed the woman by the throat, pulled out his gun, pointed it at her head and threatened to pull the trigger.

In 2003, Whitehouse pointed a handgun and yelled obscenities at a motorist he had pulled over while off-duty and intoxicated, authorities said.
