Police arrested a 16-year-old Maryland teen in connection with a Oct. 6 homicide in NW D.C.
Police arrested Christian Navarette-Rivas on a second degree murder warrant. Authorities are charging the teen as an adult.
Navarette-Rivas is accused of killing Miguel Angel Drullard, 22. Drullard was found lying in the street in the 4400 block of 14th Street, NW. At the time, police were called to the scene because of a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle that fled the scene.
He was taken to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Police said the homicide involved a hit-and-run.
