One person is in the hospital after a two alarm house fire in Northwest Washington.
The fire broke out at about 4 a.m. Monday in the 5100 block of Cathedral Avenue. It took more than 60 firefighters to get the fire under control. Firefighters believe it started in the basement, but quickly made its way through the home and eventually into the attic.
One person was taken to the hospital with smoke inhalation and burns. There is no word on a cause.
