ROCKVILLE, Md. (WJLA) - A Rockville Pike CVS is back open for business after police say an elderly woman crashed her car into the store's front door.

It happened at around 10 a.m. Tuesday when the 72 year old was attempting to park in a handicapped spot. Police say the woman accidentally hit the gas pedal instead of the brake and ended up hitting the CVS's automatic door.

No one was hurt in the crash. The CVS closed to make repairs. It reopened Tuesday night.

The driver declined an on camera interview, but told ABC7's Kevin Lewis that{ } she was picking-up a few items, and "this is a bad way to end the year."
