California man found guilty of sexual abuse, incest with girl when they were living in Md.

A man who has been living in California was found guilty in Maryland of multiple counts of sexual abuse, including incest, against a girl when she was between the ages of 12 and 17, officials say.

In June 2016, Anne Arundel County Police received a report that Dennis Michael Delisle, 47, of Oxnard, California, had sexually abused the girl, a family member, over a period of years across multiple jurisdictions, including from 2009-2011 in their family home in Glen Burnie, Md.

Delisle was found guilty by an Anne Arundel County Circuit Court jury of three counts of Third Degree Sex Offense, as well as Sex Abuse of a Minor, Incest, and Fourth Degree Sex Offense, according to a statement released by Anne Arundel County State's Attorney Wes Adams.

"Dennis Delisle inflicted unimaginable trauma on this young victim when he repeatedly chose to abuse her trust and molest her," Adams said in the statement. "I am grateful to both Anne Arundel County and Oxnard County police departments for their diligent collaboration on this case. Together we showed that no man is beyond the reach of justice."

Delisle is scheduled for sentencing on October 4. He faces up to 66 years in prison, Adams said.
