Brandon Duane Bloyer accused of bringing handgun to work at Hagerstown McDonald's
HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) - Maryland State Police say an employee at a McDonald's restaurant in Hagerstown has been arrested for allegedly bringing a loaded handgun to work.
Police say troopers were called Sunday afternoon to a McDonald's on Sharpsburg Pike after a manager learned that an employee had brought a .45-caliber handgun to the restaurant.
Police have identified the employee as 18-year-old Brandon Duane Bloyer, of Hagerstown.
Bloyer says it wasn't his gun. He says he had it in his book bag, but he was just holding it for a friend.
