Police say that a white powder found in the latest suspicious letter to be sent to a Washington building is not toxic.

Authorities say that two letters were delivered to BLT Steak at 1625 I St. NW on Saturday and at least one contained the powder. Both letters have been sent to a lab for more testing.

The notes found at the restaurant are consistent with the six other note sent throughout D.C. this week, police say.

On Thursday, suspicious letters were discovered at Amidon Bowen Elementary School in Southwest and Bibiana restaurant in downtown D.C.

Earlier in the week, another school - Oyster-Adams Bilingual in Northwest - was evacuated after a letter with powder was send there.
