Over 400 hotel guests were evacuated from a Bethesda Hyatt due to a fire early Monday morning.
The evacuated guests were taken to Bethesda Chevy Chase High School and then were transferred to another hotel, ABC7 learned.
The fire started in an electrical room. The full cause is under investigation.
The fire has now been put out and PEPCO and the Red Cross are on scene and are assisting in the incident. One contractor was injured in the incident and has been taken to a local burn center. ABC7 learned the contractor is in serious, but stable condition.
