Beatles 50th anniversary concert at Washington Coliseum

WASHINGTON (WJLA) - Beatles fans celebrated the 50th anniversary of the fab four's first ever concert in D.C. Tuesday night with a tribute show that brought back strong memories for those who were in the building five decades ago.

The show featured a Beatles tribute band that went on at 8:31 p.m. Tuesday night, the exact time that John, Paul, George and Ringo took the stage in their first D.C. show. The faux-Beatles also played the exact same set list that the real Beatles played in 1964.
