A beagle who spent his entire life in a laboratory is enjoying the dog days of summer in New Hampshire.

Franklin is one of seven beagles that were rescued by the Beagle Freedom Project from a laboratory in the D.C. area.

Franklin had spent the last four years at the lab. This week, he moved to New Hampshire to be with a new family. They told ABC7’s Kris Van Cleave that Franklin is adjusting and is tired.
