Arlington BB&T branch robbed at gunpoint

(WJLA) - Police are on the lookout for two men who robbed a BB&T Bank in Arlington.

It happened around 12:15 p.m. Wednesday at the branch on South Quincy Street.

Police say at least one of the robbers was armed and jumped the teller counter to grab money. Both suspects fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The first suspect is described as a tall man wearing a dark colored jacket, a black ski mask, grey or light colored gloves and grey pants. He was carrying a black backpack. Police say the second suspect was wearing a dark jacket, a grey hooded sweatshirt, a ski mask and light colored gloves.

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest and conviction. Anyone with information should call police.
