(WJLA) - Authorities in Anne Arundel County are investigating a trio of armed robberies that happened over the weekend.
All three of the robberies happened Sunday and Monday in Glen Burnie, Pasadena and Gambrills, police officials say.
The first armed robbery happened just before 4 a.m. Sunday at a Dash In Convenience store at 100 Mountain Road in Pasadena. In that incident, two armed, masked suspects burst into the store and got away with cash.
The second robbery happened at about 9 p.m. at a Food Lion grocery store in the 100 block of Crain Highway in Glen Burnie. Police say a suspect walked in, pulled a gun and demanded money. In this case, though, the clerk refused and the suspect fled.
Officials say the final armed robbery happened at about 2:40 a.m. Monday at a BP gas station in the 700 block of Crain Highway North in Gambrills, where authorities say a man walked into the gas station's convenience store, pulled a pistol and demanded money. The clerk at the store was not injured.
At this point, authorities say that they are unaware of any connection between the three robberies.
