Anne Arundel County crews rescue man from steep slope

A man had to be rescued by several firefighters Friday evening after he fell 200 feet down a steep slope in Arnold, Md.

Officials say the 69 year old fell from a tram while descending the 300 foot slope behind a home in the 1300 block of Kinloch Circle. Crews used ropes and a hauling system to rescue the man from the slope, which ends at a waterfront.

The man was flown to Shock Trauma with life-threatening injuries.

The Anne Arundel County Police Department is investigating.
