(WJLA) - A man was stabbed Monday at a Landover home by a woman accused of stealing his dog, officials say.

The incident began when Angelia Griffin, a 42-year-old Landover resident, was accused of taking Rocky, the victims dog. When he found out where Rocky was, he decided to go retrieve him.

But when he showed up to Griffin's Burnside Road home, she allegedly grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed him in the upper back.

The man was treated on scene for a stab wound and Rocky is fine as well. Griffin has been charged with theft and first and second degree assault.
