An American Airlines flight bound for Dallas out of Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport landed at Dulles Wednesday afternoon after pressurization issues were reported on board, officials say.
According to FlightAware.com, American Airlines flight 1491 took off from Reagan just after 1 p.m.. The MD-80 was supposed to head to Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport before it diverted.
An American Airlines spokesperson says there were pressure issues and, as a precautionary measure, the plane headed back to Dulles.
There are 125 passengers and five crew members aboard the flight.
The plane is expected to depart out of Dulles again at 2:45 p.m.
