AMBER ALERT: 3-year-old Va. boy abducted by father, in 'extreme danger'

CRITZ, Va. (WJLA) – An Amber Alert has been issued for a 3-year-old Virginia boy who was abducted by his father and is believed to be in extreme danger.

Tommy Lee Able Engle was last seen around 6:30 p.m. Monday at 367 Oak Hill Lane in Critz. The boy is 3-feet tall, weighs 35 pounds, and has blue eyes and short blond hair.

According to Virginia State Police, Tommy’s father, Tommy Lee Travis Engle, abducted the child and has made suicidal and homicidal threats. Engle is a 34-year-old white man with brown eyes and hair; he is 6-feet-3-inches tall and weighs about 200 pounds.

The father and son may be traveling in a 2001 navy blue Dodge Neon, with Virginia plates WNZ-9169.
