Inside the gates of a modest Brunswick home is a collection of statues, icons and figurines. It's a glimpse into a dark secret neighbors said they never saw.
There were allegedly 95 dogs and seven birds found in the home. They're now at the Frederick Animal Control Center. Many of the dogs were crying, shivering, covered in fleas and covered in their own feces. Many had hair loss and toenails so long that it was painful for the dogs to walk.
Neighbors said they never saw any of the dogs outside. But they said the owners, Glen and Patsy Issette, are nice people. Frederick animal control officers have yet to determine a charge or charges.
