Alexis Murphy case: Randy Taylor indicted in disappearance of teenager
Randy Taylor, the man authorities believe may be behind the disappearance of Virginia teenager Alexis Taylor, was indicted today on a charge of abduction.
Taylor was indicted Tuesday on two felony charges, one of which is for the abduction of Murphy, who hasn't been seen since Aug. 3. The other is an unrelated charge of possessing a stolen vehicle.
Murphy, 17, was last seen on Aug. 3 at a gas station in Lovingston, Va. Taylor is the prime suspect but investigators say there is another person of interest in the case.
Taylor claims the "person of interest" was the last person with Murphy the day she disappeared.
Surveillance video from the gas station taken on the day Nelson disappeared show her talking with an unidentified man at a gas pump.
Her car was found in Charlottesville shortly after she disappeared.
