Alexander Lare, Crystal Kalinowski and Christopher Lester charged with firebombing Galesville home
Three teenagers have been arrested and charged with attempting to firebomb a home in Anne Arundel County in retaliation for an earlier dispute with a resident.
Fire investigators say Alexander Lare, 17, of Churchton, Md., Crystal Kalinowski, 19, of Annapolis, Md., and Christopher Lester, 19, of Deale, Md., deployed Molotov cocktails at a home the 900 block of Galesville Road in Galesville. The incident occurred about 1:30 a.m. on June 1.
Investigators say firefighters found numerous explosive devices along with two cars that were damaged at the scene. The bombs were first discovered by a resident of the home, who went outside to investigate a noise, authorities say.
An investigation revealed that Lare and Kalinowski constructed the devices, and later met up with Lester, after which, they all set out to exact revenge on the residents.
The charges against Lare, who has been charged as an adult, Kalinowski and Lester include: five counts of attempted first degree murder, five counts of attempted second degree murder, attempted first degree arson, attempted second degree arson, five counts assault first degree, five counts assault second degree, five counts reckless endangerment, second degree malicious burning and two counts manufacture and possession of a destructive device.
All three suspects are being held at the Anne Arundel County Detention Center without bond, pending a bail review hearing.
