A disabled college student who says he was denied access to flight simulators at the Smithsonian's Air and Space Museum is suing the institution. The Washington Post reports that 21-year-old Max Gold, who suffers from a vascular disorder and uses a wheelchair, was visiting the museum last August from New York when he was denied access to RIDE. RIDE simulates combat sorties.
The lawsuit was filed Thursday in D.C. federal court.
A spokeswoman for the museum says it hasn't been served yet with the lawsuit but is looking into the alleged incident, the Post reports.
