      A cigarette sting

For the past few weeks, a group of teens has been going to different stores in an East of the river neighborhoods to show just how easy it is for underage kids to buy cigarettes.

On more than 50 different occasions, the kids say they were able to buy cigars, cigarettes and other tobacco products.

Parents and grandparents in the community are upset that their neighborhood stores, many located close to schools, would break the law and sell their children cigarettes.

They're so upset, they're organizing with the help of D.C. Voice, an education reform group, getting petitions signed and planning a protest march.
