90 million Americans traveling for the holidays

Whether it's on the roads, on the rails, or in the sky, millions are traveling over the next few days. And many are starting to arrive here in the D.C. area for the happy homecomings.

This Christmas and New Years, 90 million Americans are traveling in all different directions, with one goal in mind, being with loved ones for the holidays.

Many of those reunions are taking place today without any major travel hiccups. Airlines are reporting few delays and there's hardly a wait at the security line at Reagan National Airport.

Officials anticipate January 2nd will be the next big travel day.
