2 children, 3 adults suffer life-threatening injuries from house fire in Southeast D.C.

Two children and three adults were taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries from a house fire in Southeast D.C. Saturday morning.

ABC7 has learned that one has died, but no identity has been released yet.

Four of the five were rescued from the two-story home in the 1200 block of Stevens Road SE, firefighters say. One woman jumped from the second story.

A firefighter was treated for minor injuries and released.
