Brain cancer vaccine found to be successful

It’s welcome news: a vaccine has been found to be successful in a certain form of brain cancer.

The vaccine, which is made from brain cancer patients’ own tumor cells, has amounted to a 50 percent improvement in survival. The vaccine is for those battling glioblastoma multiforme, according to a new study, as reported by HealthDay.

Glioblastoma multiforme, the most common and aggressive malignant primary brain tumor in humans, is the same disease that killed the late Senator Ted Kennedy.
